Can you help select a label material and adhesive?+
Yes. MEIKEI can compare paper, BOPP, PE, PET and specialty films after checking the surface, curvature, application temperature, service temperature, contents and required appearance.
What is the difference between kiss-cut and die-cut labels?+
A kiss-cut passes through the face stock but leaves the release liner intact, usually on a roll or sheet. An individually die-cut label is cut through both the face stock and liner to create a separate piece. Custom shapes can use either cutting approach.
Can I order a sample before mass production?+
Yes. Agree the sample type, material, artwork and finish first. The project team confirms sample cost and timing for that scope before preparation.
What details are required for automatic roll-label application?+
Provide the applicator requirements, core size, maximum roll diameter, unwind direction, gap, liner and quantity per roll. The finished roll specification should be approved before production.
Do you support multiple label designs in one project?+
Yes. Multi-SKU programs can be coordinated under one project, while quantities, dimensions, colors, materials, finishing and variable data are controlled for each version.
Which artwork files should I provide?+
Editable vector artwork is preferred for accurate text, dielines and finishing layers. Supply fonts or outlined text, linked images and clearly separated foil, white ink, spot-color and spot-finish layers.
