Questions about Snap-Lock Bottom Carton
Should I enter product size or box size?
Enter the required internal box dimensions. If you only know the product dimensions, include them in your project notes so clearance, board thickness and any insert can be reviewed before the dieline is prepared.
How is this different from auto-lock bottom?
A snap-lock bottom is assembled by folding and interlocking its base flaps. An auto-lock bottom uses pre-glued sections that open during erection. Packing time and load requirements help determine the better fit.
Can I check the fit before production?
Request a structural sample using the intended product or accurate dimensions and weight. Review fit, closure, removal and the packing sequence before approving the production specification.
